A moving array of early music by, about, and for women from Europe to Persia.  Melos is joined by guest santur virtuoso Sadaf Amini, medieval lutenist Bryan Martin, and members of Kingston’s Navaa Band.  From Hildegard of Bingen to women composers of the Baroque era, we highlight Europe’s undersung musical heroines.  We also present music of Persia, Armenia, and the Sephardic tradition.
